Introduction

Hi, my name is Greg. I am a 46 year old male born and raised in the Garden State (New Jersey) in the United States. I married my wife, who is from Japan, in 2005 and we've been living in New Jersey since then. We've been talking about moving to Japan a lot and finally, in July of 2013, we decided to make the move!

I've lived my whole life in the suburbs of Middlesex County and other than a crazy summer in California when I turned 21, I've never left. So moving to another country on the other side of the world was a big step for me.

What I'd like to accomplish with this blog is to tell the little differences between living in America and living in Japan. These are just funny observations that I will be making and I am not sure if they are the norm in Japan or not, they are just my personal experiences.
